Wisdom from LawDog
I once sat in on a class in which the instructor was vociferously declaiming the use of sights or a two hand hold because – no matter how much training you had – you couldn’t take your eyes off of the threat to use the sights.
The same instructor later forbade his students to pick up empty brass because it would result in training the students to look away from the threat at inopportune times in order to retrieve empty brass, resulting in tragedy.
He got a bit irate when I asked him to make up his mind.
