We sometimes hear similar defamation against organized competition shooting, about why it isn’t “real world” or similar. As stated in the article above, this belittling is almost always from people that have never done it.

“Friendly fire” like this is worse than anti-gun/anti-hunting which we expect to come from ignorant people opposed to us, not from allies.
